In 1980 Kees van Vliet and Teun Los start their company Getru Internationaal Transport BV with the shipping of containers, meat and cattle from Ter Aar.

Move to Roelofarendsveen
Getru moves to new business premises on De Lasso in Roelofarendsveen. Its activities are expanded to include the refrigerated transport of flowers and plants as well as meat and freezer products.
1985
Steady Growth
Over the years, Getru expands as a result of various takeovers and the establishment of VCH (Vervoers Centrale Honselersdijk), Getru België , ATC (Aalsmeerse Transport Combinatie) and other operations.
The 90s
Move to Bleiswijk
In 2003 Getru moves to the old auction site in Bleiswijk. Modern business premisses are built with plenty of office space, 8.500 m2 of storage and transshipment space, a fully equipped fleet garage, and a vehicle wash. Over the years, Getru has specialised in the shipping of flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables.

Expansion in Spain
Getru Logistica is established in Spain.
2011
Expansion in Poland
Getru Sp. Z O.O. is established in Poland.
2013
Takeover
Getru is taken over by the new directors Mark Hofland, Frank van der Meer and Wilfred Los.
